kimsreview exists for one reason: someone considering treatment in Korea from abroad cannot see what actually happened to other patients, at what price, by whose hands. We publish that record.
What is on this site
Every case here is a record of one treatment: before-and-after photographs, the technique that was used, the anesthesia, the recovery the patient reported, and the amount that was actually paid.
Cases are written and published by the clinic that performed the treatment — the doctor, or the coordinator working with them. They are not written by us, and they are not advertisements bought from an agency.
Who publishes here
Accounts belong to licensed Korean clinics and to the staff who work in them. Each profile states whether the person is a doctor, a coordinator, or an aesthetician, because those are different roles and it would be misleading to blur them.
Profiles and clinics that we have confirmed carry a verification mark. An unverified profile is not hidden, but it is not marked as verified either.
Prices
The amount shown on a case is what that patient paid for that treatment, in the currency it was paid in, with tax treatment stated. Other currencies are shown as a conversion at the day's rate for reference only.
A price on one case is not a quote. Treatment scope differs from person to person, and so does the price.
Languages
Cases are authored in Korean by Korean medical staff and published in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Indonesian.
We only list a page in a language when that language's text actually exists. We do not present a machine fallback as if it were a translated page.
How we make money
Clinics pay to publish and to receive enquiries. Patients pay nothing to read cases or to send an enquiry.
Payment does not buy a better result, a rating, or a position that pretends to be editorial. Rankings on this site come from case counts and engagement, not from fees.
What this site is not
This is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a referral service that takes responsibility for a clinic's work. Results differ from person to person. Read the individual case, then speak with the clinic.
