Privacy policy

What we collect

• ·Account: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google, LINE or Kakao — the account identifier and basic profile that provider returns. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
• ·Enquiries and bookings: the name and phone number you enter, the country of that number, your preferred date and time, whether you need an interpreter, and any note you write.
• ·Activity: cases you view, like, save, follow or comment on.
• ·Device and usage: pages requested, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, collected through Google Analytics.
• ·Preferences stored on your own device: language, currency, display density, light or dark theme, recently viewed cases, and unsent drafts.

Why we use it

• ·To show you cases in your language and currency and to keep you signed in.
• ·To pass an enquiry to the clinic you chose to contact.
• ·To measure which pages are read so we can fix what is not working.
• ·To detect abuse and duplicate submissions.

Who it is shared with

When you send an enquiry or booking to a clinic, the details you entered are shared with that clinic so they can reply. That is the point of sending it.

We use Supabase for our database, authentication and file storage, Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics for measurement, and DeepL for translation. Sign-in with Google, LINE or Kakao involves those providers.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfer

This service is operated from the Republic of Korea and the providers above may process data outside your country. By using the service you accept that your enquiry is transferred to the Korean clinic you contact.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes it.

Enquiry and booking records are kept while the clinic needs them to answer you and to meet its own record-keeping duties.

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage for the things that must survive a page load: your language, currency, display density, theme, recently viewed cases, unsent drafts, and your signed-in session.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies for measurement. You can block cookies in your browser; sign-in and saved preferences will stop working.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can delete your account yourself from account settings.

To make a request in writing, use the contact address below. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Children

This service is not intended for children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
